As the premier showcase league under Ringette Canada, the NRL features 14 teams coast-to-coast and brings together the highest level of talent in the sport — including current, former, and future National Team athletes.

Every October, the NRL season kicks off with renewed excitement and energy. The level of athleticism, skill, and leadership on display not only captivates fans but also inspires the next generation of female athletes and leaders.

The total cost per athlete can exceed $10,000 per season, presenting a real barrier to participation.

While Ringette Canada helps cover some league expenses, the burden often falls on the athletes — many of whom are post-secondary students, new professionals, or starting families. They’re making real sacrifices to compete at this level.
