Riverview PRO Kids helps children overcome financial barriers that limit their participation in sport, arts and recreation programs.
OUR MISSION
Riverview Positive Recreation Opportunities (P.R.O.) Kids is about giving all children and youth (under 18) equitable access to valuable recreation activities.
We are a charitable program operated by the Town of Riverview, providing hundreds of children in financial need the opportunity to participate in organized sports, arts, cultural and recreational activities.
The program is a proactive and confidential service available to all children and youth in Riverview, NB. All administration costs are covered by the Town of Riverview, allowing 100% of all donations to go directly to assisting the children and youth of our community. Since 2001, more than 8000 activity placements have been made through Riverview PRO Kids.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
From hockey to theatre, PRO Kids works with over 20 community activity partners who donate spaces in their programs, so that children in financial need have the opportunity to participate. However, the need for spaces extends beyond the donated program spaces, so PRO Kids must raise funds to place more children into programs!
Please help support our cause, and ensure that all Riverview children, regardless of finances, have the ability to access and enjoy recreational activities.
