Giving Tuesday 2023 - Rocky Mountain Adaptive

By removing barriers to participation, there are no limits to what can be achieved.

This year, we're fundraising for the Clairey-Lou Memorial Fund, which supports discounted program pricing for those who face monetary barriers to participation. While RMA has a fee for service for partial cost recovery, with the remainder covered by donations, grants and our own fundraising, cost should never be a barrier to participation and the long-term sustainability of RMA programs.

Here are a few ways your donation can support RMA participants and their families:

- $75.00: Round-trip Calgary-Bow Valley Accessible Transportation for one participant

- $200.00: Ability2Ski/Ride/Sit-Ski Private 3-hour Lesson for one participant

- $500.00: Support an individual living with a disability to participate in a specialized multi-sport, multi-day camp

- $840.00: 10-week Ski and Ride program for one participant

Clairey-Lou Memorial Fund

In memory of Claire Gosling, sister of RMA Co Founder and Executive Director, Jamie McCulloch. Many years ago, Jamie McCulloch taught his sister, Claire, to ski. Claire lived with Autism. Rocky Mountain Adaptive was born out of a passion for outdoor mountain sports, and a desire to make them accessible to all abilities, just as Claire was introduced to by her brother.

Donations made to this fund donated will support discounted program pricing to those who face monetary barriers to participation. While RMA programs are priced as low as possible and often supported by the generosity of funding, grants and discounted services, cost should never be a barrier to participation and the long-term sustainability of RMA programs.
