The Giving Season is here! Will you help us make an even greater impact as we go into 2026?

Thanks to your incredible generosity and our matching donors, we surpassed our Giving Tuesday goal and raised a total of $43,904. Let's keep the momentum going!

Thanks to matching gifts from the Evergreen Foundation and the Connor D. Anderson Memorial Foundation that are graciously being extended past Giving Tuesday, every donation made after December 2nd will be doubled, up to $18,000! Contributions will have twice the impact, helping us reach even more individuals in our community.

We are already making incredible progress towards our ultimate year-end goal of $120,000! 

Due to the incredible support from last year's Giving Season, we were able to help foster independence, confidence, and a true sense of belonging for over 600 participants. Over 2500 activities were booked ranging from adaptive skiing to whitewater rafting from more than 20 different sports to choose from.

A highlight of the summer was our highly anticipated seventh annual Friends and Family Camp. It was our biggest one yet with more than 120 people coming from all over Alberta. It was an incredible week of activities full of hiking, biking, paddling, whitewater rafting and kayak fishing. All based out of the beautiful William Watson Lodge, a fully accessible backcountry lodge in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park. It was a dream-come-true for folks with disabilities to experience accessible adventures while being accompanied by friends and family members!

Your generosity has a lasting impact and we’re looking to have your support again this year to continue these incredible experiences! Your support is critical to the success of our programs, enabling us to expand our reach, invest in adaptive equipment and hire skilled instructors to foster a more inclusive community.

Our fees cover only 15% of our costs to deliver programming. Therefore, your donation support is crucial for RMA in order to continue to deliver life-changing adventures at an affordable price. Help us increase our reach and change the lives of participants and their families. Here’s a look at what’s possible with your support:

- $85 supports a 3-Hour Summer Adventure Day spent hiking, biking, or paddling for 1 participant

- $210 supports a 3-Hour Private 1:1 Ski / Snowboard / Sit Ski lesson for 1 participant

- $550 supports 1 participant in a specialized multi-sport, multi-day camp

- $915 supports 1 participant to join our 10-week Alpine Ski and Ride Program

- $2,000 supports 10 volunteers to go through our comprehensive training on adaptive sports and inclusivity in order to support our participants in their adaptive sports. Our volunteers are an essential cornerstone of our operations and the impacts from their support are far-reaching.
