About Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto
Since 1981, Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) Toronto has served as a place to call home for families with seriously ill children undergoing treatment. RMHC Toronto encompasses a House for 81 families in downtown Toronto and seven Family Rooms in hospitals across the Greater Toronto Area and in Sudbury. The families we serve – 4,735 last year alone – come from throughout Ontario, across Canada and around the world.
Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto is an independent charity, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and operated by staff and volunteers. The first and largest House in Canada, it is part of a network of more than 275 licensed Ronald McDonald House Chapters around the world. It operates under the legal name: Toronto Children's Care Inc.
