This year, we have been blessed by the support of donors across the province during the COVID pandemic. We know that these are difficult times, so we appreciate all this amazing support even more this year! In late winter/early spring, our roof sustained damage and the ceiling was leaking into our multipurpose room. Our temporary patches have held for the most part, but we are needing to replace it with a more long term solution (metal roofing) as we plan to insulate the interior roof space later this summer--a project partially supported by Food Banks Canada.
Good Neighbours Food Centre provides emergency food aid to individuals in need who live within a 50 km radius of Rosthern, Saskatchewan. Our food bank currently serves over 1000 individuals each month, with nearly half of these being children. In addition to emergency food hampers, we offer community lunches, community garden programs, kids cooking classes, Valley Employment Services, a volunteer tax program and more. Your support of this project allows us to continue helping the most vulnerable in our communities.
With heartfelt thanks from all of us!
