Rotary Club members are volunteers who work at the local, regional and international level to fight poverty and hunger, improve health standards, provide education and promote peace and diplomacy.

For over 30 years The Rotary Club of London South has been actively supporting and funding projects in the London community such as:

• Delivering Turkeys for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for the needy and homeless
• Improving Literacy with school libraries and dictionaries
• Providing Back-to-school supplies & backpacks
• Serving School Children Pancake Breakfasts
• Enhancing parks and school playgrounds
• Supporting Hunger Relief Programs
• Planting Trees

International projects include:

• Supporting the eradication of the polio virus worldwide
• Purchasing Shelter Boxes to provide temporary shelter following natural disasters
• Fitting the poor with glasses through the Avoidable Blindness Program
• Providing bed kits for Sleeping Children Around the World 
• Financing solar lighting to Grannies who are raising their grandchildren as a result of the loss of their own children to AIDS
• Subsidizing a school in Uganda for children who are unable to pay government school fees
• Funding projects in Africa to provide clean water
