The Rotary Club of Ottawa provides much-needed assistance and support to vulnerable populations in our community and abroad.
The Rotary Club of Ottawa is a group of community members who assists vulnerable communities here in Ottawa and around the world through a wide variety of service projects that focus on: peace and conflict prevention/resolution, disease prevention and treatment, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, education and literacy, and economic and community development.
A gift to Rotary, is a gift through Rotary as your donation then continues on its journey to make a difference to those in vulnerable communities here, and abroad. Through your support, and our various other partnerships, the Club can better move forward to plan, coordinate, and deliver on these life-changing projects.
Here are two funds where your support is needed most!
Community Service Fund– Focuses on providing support to Ottawa area charitable organizations that serve local needs such as Operation Come Home and the Ottawa Rotary Home. Some more recent projects include providing dictionaries to elementary schools, and focused projects at Robert E. Wilson Public School.
International Projects - Largely focused on education in recent years such as equipping teachers and students with computers in Burundi, providing scholarships to young women in Uganda, and supporting two Syrian refugee families arriving in Canada. Most recently, it was supporting the delivery of infant incubators to Zimbabwe.
