The Rotary Club of Uxbridge Charitable Foundation is a separate and distinct fundraising and granting entity associated with the Rotary Club of Uxbridge. The Foundation, composed entirely of volunteers who are elected annually, has minimal administrative expenses. Therefore, it is able to direct virtually all of its funds to supporting the Uxbridge community and building capital to become a permanent supportive Foundation in our community.

The Foundation was formed to receive gifts and bequests, and to apply all or part of these funds to qualified recipients (registered Canadian Charities). The Foundation will fund community programs primarily in the Township of Uxbridge and surrounding areas within Durham Region to relieve poverty, advance education, benefit youth and other purposes beneficial to the community.

The Rotary Club of Uxbridge (the Club) does a wonderful job of raising money through its varied fundraising efforts and directing the funds to where they are needed most – at the local, national and international levels. The Uxbridge Rotary Charitable Foundation works closely with the Club to achieve its goals.

The Rotary Club of Uxbridge Charitable Foundation offers the opportunity for individuals, families, estates, trusts and corporations to support its worthy causes. The Foundation will issue a tax receipt for all donations of $20 or more and is able to receive gifts of securities in a tax advantaged manner.
