Lebanon Relief Fund for Displaced Lebanese People

The situation in Lebanon continues to deteriorate. Again, the Lebanese people are under a catastrophic situation!

Just in two weeks, more than one million and two hundred thousand Lebanese citizens have been displaced from their homes and lands.

Thousands of families, children, young people and the elderly find themselves homeless, they are suffering and sleeping on floors of structures that are not designed to live in to escape the war-torn places.

Lebanese communities that are not affected by the war receive those displaced in their homes, schools, clubs… but the situation is overwhelming.

In fact, the Lebanese population since 2019 have suffered from economic and monetary crises and cannot support its own needs.

Rotarians of Lebanon who believe in “Service above Self” cannot remain inert in the face of this tragedy. A cry of alarm was launched by Rotarians to support their initiatives and help them to be able to provide the basic needs of food, winter clothes, hygiene and medical supplies to the displaced.

Please, consider a donation to support a project entitled: “Emergency Relief Fund for Displaced Lebanese People”

RC of West Ottawa and Montreal Cedars are collaborating to ensure these funds are sent to the Clubs in Lebanon and used for the immediate needs of those in the Beirut communities.
