ROYAL TYRRELL MUSEUM COOPERATING SOCIETY
A non-profit, charitable organization, the Cooperating Society has helped fund educational programs, research objectives, gallery enhancements, and local community initiatives since 1993. The Society manages the Museum Shop, the Membership Program, the Badlands Science Camp, and the Dr. Elizabeth (Betsy) Nicholls Post-doctoral Fellowship.
The Cooperating Society plays a key role in helping the museum realize their mandate, which is: "To be an internationally recognized public and scientific museum dedicated to the collection, preservation, presentation, and interpretation of palaeontological history, with a particular emphasis on Alberta's rich fossil heritage."
