About the Rivershed Society of BC
Rivershed is a non-profit charity dedicated to improving the health the Fraser Watershed and its riversheds.
The society formed in 1996, in the wake of Fin Donnelly's ‘Swim for Life’ – a 1,400 km three-week swim down the entire length of the Fraser River. Since our inception, Rivershed’s programs have been fostering relationships between people, the land, and the water and helping people understand the importance of creating a healthier, more resilient Fraser Watershed.
Our goal is to connect a movement to protect 30% and restore 2.4% of the Fraser Watershed by 2030, we call it Watershed CPR.
