Founded in 1967 by Drs. Wanda and Witold Rygiel, Rygiel Supports for Community Living began as a place of care for children with multiple disabilities. Over the decades, we have grown and evolved alongside the people we support, shifting our focus to person-directed care and community-based living. Today, Rygiel is committed to empowering individuals to live rich, fulfilling lives by fostering meaningful connections, championing choice, and ensuring that each person is recognized and valued as a vital member of their community.
About RYGIEL SUPPORTS FOR COMMUNITY LIVING
We provide a variety of supports to people who have multiple disabilities. This may be:
twenty-four hour support, semi-independent living support, ongoing short-term assistance, family in-home support, assistance to families with special services, at-home contracts, individualized Ministry contracts, as well as providing support to people in work, volunteer,
business, leisure and recreational endeavors. This integrated model of service is driven by the individual’s desires, dreams and needs laid out in a Personal Lifestyle Plan and carries the potential for a fulfilled life.
