About SAFE HARBOUR SOCIETY
PROGRAMS AND SERVICES
1. Supported Recovery Housing – Shared alcohol & drug free housing is available to tenants. A live-in facilitator and SHS staff provide long term support.
2. Peoples Place Emergency Shelter –This 35 space overnight emergency shelter is available to sober men, women & families.
3. Medical Detox/Transition – This program provides a medically supported detox and supportive transition beds to 20 individuals at one time.
4. Mats Overnight Shelter – This emergency shelter is provided to 26 high and intoxicated adults who are in need of a safe place to sleep.
5. Aboriginal Elder Support – Individual, family, & group support is offered through counseling, sharing circles, sweats & ceremony.
6. RDHT Outreach - Supports individuals and families to secure and maintain permanent housing.
7. 24 Hour Phone Support
