Our Mission
Safe Haven Women's Shelter Society is committed to recognizing and responding to our community's need for comprehensive family violence services. We understand that family violence, in its fullest scope, impacts primary victims, family members, society, and future generations. With this in mind, it is our goal to stop the cycle of violence by providing emergency shelter, community outreach, information & referrals, advocacy, prevention and education.
We strive to prevent all forms of violence and enhance the family violence response collectively at all levels within the community.
About SAFE HAVEN WOMEN'S SHELTER SOCIETY
Safe Haven provides emergency residential shelter to women and children fleeing domestic violence and abuse. Safe Haven also offers community outreach to men, women, youth and children. We provide a 24-hour crisis line and staff are trained in suicide intervention. Safe Haven also offers public education to workplaces, groups, organizations and schools and is always happy to provide education and awareness.
