Safe & Healthy Communities is a group made up of volunteers from a variety of organizations that work collaboratively to promote safety, manage risks, and create awareness around injury prevention. We have been providing programs and services in the Assiniboia area since 2010.

Now, the organization is seeking community support to continue working towards our mission of “striving to make Assiniboia and surrounding areas the safest place to live, learn, work and play.” Past projects have included Progressive Agriculture Safety Days, First Responder Day, positive ticketing, bike helmet safety awareness, Aged for Action programs, distracted driving, car seat safety, poisoning prevention, self-harm prevention, Addiction Awareness Week and concussion education.

Donation support will allow the organization to continue improving our community and working towards its fundamental goals:

- To promote health by educating adults and children with regards to safe and preventative practices
