The Saint John Jewish Historical Museum was created in 1986 to preserve our history and to share it with visitors from around the world. Our mandate is to collect, conserve, display and educate. We show documents and artifacts related to the Saint John Jewish community. The Museum features a number of permanent and changing exhibits.
Educational programs include group tours for schools, churches and organizations and a Holocaust Study Group program for high school students in the Saint John area.
Other events include a Holocaust Remembrance Day Program, Saint John Jewish Film Festival, Chanukah Menorah Lighting and book reading events.
