The Rotary Club of Saint John was founded in 1914 and has been operating continuously since then. The club's mission is to improve the lives of vulnerable seniors and children at risk in Saint John and its surrounding communities. Rotary Saint John founded what has become one of the most successful Boys & Girls Clubs in Atlantic Canada (now called BGC Saint John).
The Club has a history of building and running seniors' residences in partnership with Saint John Non Profit Housing. In 2007 the club built the Teen Resource Centre.
Our more recent efforts include fundraising for Ukrainian Refugees, providing shelter boxes for global disaster relief, and helping provide lunches for children at local schools.
