Saint Moses Coptic Relief Organization is a 100% volunteer-based Canadian, charitable organization registered with the Canada Revenue Agency in 2012. Our focus is mainly in Egypt, Sudan and South Sudan to save lives by helping underpreviliged families with Food, Clothing, Medical bills & basic nessecities. Our objective is to defeat poverty and achieve social justice.
WHAT WE DO
Saint Moses Coptic Relief Organization is a leading charitable organization fighting poverty in Egypt, Sudan and South Sudan. Through our community-based efforts focused on empowering men & women, we work to improve basic education, increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand economic opportunity and protect the children from extreme poverty. SMRO helps people rebuild their lives so they are able to provide for their families. Women and girls are at the heart of our poverty-fighting and emergency-relief efforts because our experience shows that their gains translate into benefits themselves, their families and their communities.
SMRO not only feeds the hungry, we also help tackle underlying causes of poverty so that people can become self-sufficient. Recognizing that women and children suffer disproportionately from poverty, Saint Moses Coptic Relief Organization places special emphasis on working with women to create permanent social change.
WHERE WE WORK
Since 2012, Saint Moses Coptic Relief Organization has been working in Egypt, Sudan and South Sudan, supporting over 1000 poverty-fighting development and humanitarian aid projects to reach more than 10 thousand people.
