Communities in northwestern B.C. are at high risk as one of the most dangerous wildfires in the province continues to burn out-of-control. At least 40 buildings have been destroyed in Telegraph Creek and hundreds of people have been evacuated via the only route out of the area.
Samaritan’s Purse Canada is supporting evacuees and fire crews with meals and shelter at our Dease Lake Ministry Center (about 100 kilometers from Telegraph Creek).
In addition to our response in the Telegraph Creek we are actively monitoring other B.C. communities that are being threatened by wildfires. You can be part of this vital Canadian disaster relief work through your monetary donations.
