In Spring 2023, Sanctuary fundraised for the purchase of a centre van. With your help, we were able to obtain an 8 passenger van!
Staff look forward to using the van to transport youth to natural areas around Victoria BC, for we recognize that exposure to nature increases well-being and mental health, lessening teen aggression and adult-onset depression. Trips primarily take place mid-week, as part of our Wellness Wednesday programming.
We need your help to make these experiences within reach of our youth!
Funds raised are used to facilitate the off-site component of "Wellness Wednesdays."
