Sanctum Retreat Society of Alberta supports Sanctum Retreat, a non-profit organization that provides individuals and groups a space in which to center, refocus, pray, come to the quiet and rest a while to be with God in the solitude. Sanctum facilitates, as well as, hosts various groups and welcomes women’s retreats, men’s retreats, clergy retreats, serenity (12-step) retreats and hosting events.
Individuals who come to Sanctum on retreat do not have to pay a set fee. It is by offering. Also, Sanctum Retreat is not funded by any religious orders or groups and relies on the generous support of others that donate to the Society. These funds then assist Sanctum Retreat to fulfill its purpose and to meet its monthly expenses.
