SAR 360 provides certified K9 USAR teams (Urban Search and Rescue) to agencies—bringing the missing home when every second counts.
SAR 360 is a small, dedicated search and rescue unit specializing in K9 Urban Search and Rescue (USAR). The team focuses on the training and development of both handlers and their canine partners in two key disciplines: live find and human remains detection (HRD).
Most training takes place in the Calabogie area and West Ottawa. To ensure access to advanced and diverse training environments—such as rubble piles, vehicles, and collapsed structures—USAR and HRD handlers are also expected to travel to the United States every 4–6 weeks.
SAR 360’s mission is to support tasking agencies by providing certified searchers, team leaders, and highly trained K9 teams.
As an all-volunteer organization, SAR 360 relies on self-funding, donations, and sponsorships to operate. It is registered as a federal corporation and recognized as a charitable organization.
