The Kramer IMAX Theatre is the largest movie screen in Saskatchewan at 52 feet tall and 73 feet wide. One of the few remaining 3D IMAX 15/70mm theatres in the world, we know that our visitors have come to love being part of the global release plans for films like Christopher Nolan’s TENET, special re-release screenings such as The Dark Knight Trilogy, and amazing documentary content.

While maintaining our capacity to show incredible IMAX 15/70mm films, we will add a new digital IMAX with Laser system to be better able to provide the content that YOU want.

You can help make this new and exciting digital system a reality! By Adopting a Laser, you are helping support the Saskatchewan Science Centre fundraise for this new digital projection system which provides the opportunity to show expanded film and cinema product to YOU. 

After you Adopt a Laser, for $250, you will be recognized for your contribution outside of the theatre on our Donor Wall. To ensure your laser receives the best treatment, they will remain in safe in our care in the theatre projection booth, which you are welcome to visit anytime during our hours of operation. To commemorate your investment, you will receive a commemorative gift to remind you of your generous support of new technology in Saskatchewan.
