Scleroderma Canada

about

Scleroderma is a rare, chronic autoimmune disease that causes the body to produce too much collagen, leading to hardening and thickening of the skin. In some forms, it can also affect internal organs, including the lungs, heart, kidneys and digestive system. The disease affects everyone differently, and while treatments can help manage symptoms and complications, there is currently no cure.

Scleroderma Canada is a registered national charity dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by scleroderma across Canada. Since 1999, we have worked to advance research, raise awareness, provide patient support and advocate for better access to care and treatment.

Through research funding, educational resources, community programs and advocacy, we work to ensure that people living with scleroderma and their families have access to the information, support and care they need.

Every donation helps us move this work forward, bringing us closer to better treatments, improved quality of life and, ultimately, a world free of scleroderma.

Thank you for being part of that mission.
