Our Mission

Created in 2004, Second Kicks is a non-profit charitable sports organization committed to helping communities in Canada and around the world with a love for soccer by collecting used soccer uniforms and equipment from the Toronto area and distributing to children, youths and families in economically disadvantaged communities.

About Second Kicks

Quite simply, we take your gently used soccer equipment and combine it with other donations to create a "game in a box" -uniforms, boots, balls. Then we ship these boxes to communities around the world to support their love of soccer. Uniforms from Toronto area soccer leagues have gone to communities in Uganda, Kenya, Botswana and Nepal, for example, as well as to communities in Canada's far north. What is "not wanted" here is of real value in these communities -helping kids and adults enjoy themselves, playing a game they love. We continue to build relationships with communities around the world eager to receive equipment. You can help by donating equipment or donating funds to help pay the shipping costs -$50 will send a boxful of equipment around the world and spread a little joy in a community that needs our support.
