Self-Help Connection (SHC) is a charitable organization dedicated to shaping healthy communities for the past 30 years in Nova Scotia. By uniting the voices and expertise of community members, non-profit agencies and government; we are partnering in a collective impact movement focusing on establishing sustainable change in diverse areas of social needs. Our goal is to continue hosting an inter-collaborative space and provide best practice facilitation training and self-awareness workshops; to promote the power of lived experience, enhance social change through community work and strengthen communities with sustainable change.
