A magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck southern Philippines on the morning of June 8, causing widespread destruction across the region.
At least 47 people have died, more than 680 are injured, and over 43,000 families have been displaced, with homes, hospitals, and critical infrastructure severely damaged.
