About Mapleridge Recreation Centre

Mapleridge has been an important part of the Peterborough and area community for over 60 years. Our organization provides physical, social and educational programs to people 50+ that promote optimal health, wellbeing, and camaraderie.

Governed by a Volunteer Board of Directors, Mapleridge is managed by a small dedicated staff team and supported by over 70 volunteers.  Our 10 year old facility is accessible, bright and welcoming, with ample parking, and the city transit stops at our building.

Qualified instructors offer a variety of programs which promote the physical, emotional and social well being of our members.  Programs are aimed at meeting members’ diverse interests, abilities, and needs, in a safe and supportive environment.

Scheduled and drop in programs are offered Monday to Saturday.  Special events and dinners are organized on a regular basis and promoted through a monthly newsletter, signage and our website.
