About SENIOR WHEELS ASSOCIATION
Senior Wheels Association has been operating for over 30 years with the goal of fostering independence and mobility by offering a fully accessible, pre-booked, door-to-door transpiration option to seniors and persons with disabilities in Bridgewater and 7km around the the town.
In 2023 Senior Wheels Association began operating with the trade name Lunenburg County Wheels providing wheelchair assessable, door-to-door, pre-booked transportation to persons of all ages that do not have other means of transportation. This service is now available at very low cost to residents of the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg and Bridgewater. It will be expanding to include the towns of Lunenburg and Mahone Bay in 2024.

The service is supported by modest suggested fares from users, grants from provincial and municipal governments, the United Way and generous donations from the community at large.
