The mission of the charitable organization Serbs for Serbs Canada (SFS Canada) is to provide a better future for the Serbian people in the Balkans through our humanitarian projects and activities. Socio-economically impoverished families with three or more children are the primary focus of the charitable organization Serbs for Serbs Canada.

Our aid is focused primarily on multi-children families, with the goal of helping them attain self sufficiency. It is our hope that one of the benefits of self sufficient people will be the reversal of the declining birth rate of the last 20 years.

SFS Canada never donates money to the sponsored families. Once it assesses the families’ needs, SFS Canada finances the necessary purchases to provide them with the basic necessities: livestock, agricultural implements, tractors, furniture, appliances etc. The charity also finances home construction and renovation.

The long term goals of the charitable organization Serbs for Serbs Canada are: 

- to help the sponsored families become self sufficient,

- to encourage the children to get a good education so that they can provide for their future families,

- to encourage sponsored, newly self sufficient families to become donors themselves and to help needy families,

- to ensure donors are satisfied with our work so that they will continue to confidently support our charity.

The charitable organization Serbs for Serbs Canada relies on the support of volunteers and financial donors. We are always looking for volunteers to help out with the daily activities and to help with the completion of the projects. We believe that our volunteers may one day become the future leaders of our organization.
