Who we are –
Saskatoon Sexual Health (SSH) vision is a society where sexual and reproductive health and rights are respected, celebrated, and accessible to all. We provide sexual and reproductive health services in Saskatoon and area with an emphasis on safe, inclusive, empowering clinical care and education. We advocate for change within our own organization and the larger community, working with diverse communities to promote healthy and informed sexualities. SSH was formerly known as Planned Parenthood Saskatoon and has been providing services and support in Saskatoon and area since the 1970s. SSH is a non-profit, charitable organization.
What we do -
SSH works to ensure that clients receive accurate and accessible information, resources, and support to promote healthy sexuality and sexual health. Clinical and educational services at SSH take a preventative, upstream approach striving to decrease rates of HIV, STIs, and unintended pregnancy in our community.
Saskatoon Sexual Health ensures clients receive accurate and accessible information, resources, and support to promote healthy sexuality. Using a preventative, upstream approach, SSH provides sexual and reproductive health and education services like low-cost and free contraceptives, pregnancy options, counselling, and medication abortions, HIV and STI testing, pap tests, and prevention services.
