Shad is a month-long immersion into a world of theory and hands-on STEAM and entrepreneurship modules for highly-driven students that are eager to take on real-world issues.  

Shad is a diverse extended community of leaders dedicated to the development of remarkable youth, helping them to recognize, harness and strengthen their talents.

Shad provides an educational structure, access to academic mentors and leaders, a safe environment to explore and a diverse and open community to thrive in.

Shad looks for diversity and well-roundedness in Shad participants with an over-arching commitment to excellence.

Students with a strong academic foundation, who are natural go-getters, curious about the world, community-minded, creative and engaged are the type that excel at Shad.

Shad Valley started in Aurora, Ontario in 1989 and has grown into Shad Canada which offers a widespread STEAM and entrepreneurship program for over a thousand students in partnership with top Canadian universities each year.

Shad participants join a growing Shad Network of 19,000 founders and CEOs, international academics, social entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, best-selling authors, and AI innovators.
