The Ship Hector Society is restoring the Ship Hector, an important icon in Canadian history.
This is a monumental task and we are seeking the support of people from around the world so we can share the significance of the importance of the Ship Hector in Canadian history.
This project will develop economic activity in the region, create employment and create a better understanding of the partnership between the indigenous community and the early Hector settlers.
Using innovative and green technologies the "new" Ship Hector will be an important attraction for the region and Nova Scotia.
