Simcoe and District Humane Society is ready to help people and their pets affected in many ways by the COVID-19 virus.
Our Helping Hands Helping Hearts program will shelter pets of people who need to enter into hospitals or other quarantine facilities and whose families are unable to care for their pets.
We will also assist with food and supplies or emergency vet visits for those people who are laid-off or have lost the jobs due to the COVID-19 virus and are waiting for their EI or emergency government cheques.
Our Emergency Services will continue; helping orphaned, sick and injured animals or those who have been abandoned when owners have left them behind.
