Sisters in the Six is a group of exceptional young women with developmental disabilities, who come together weekly to share and learn. Along with our experiences in drama, social skills, mindfulness, dance and music, we have engaging conversation, laughs and games, sharing our thoughts and dreams.
Our Vision is to boldly develop our abilities and talents to the fullest, and to empower ourselves to participate fully in the community around us.
Our Goal is independent living through mutual support, advocacy and connections between families and the broader societal structure.
We are building our own collectivity based on the unique and connected female experience.
