In Simcoe & Muskoka, Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions is one of two organizations legally mandated to protect children and youth from abuse and neglect. We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who are elected from within the community. Programs and services are developed in response to the needs of children, youth, and families in our community.
As an integrated child and family services agency, we offer Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) services to families with children (under the age of 18) living in the District of Muskoka. Our services are available in both English and French.
We also offer our clients yearly programs that are funded entirely by the generosity of donors. These programs provide our clients with their "basic needs" such as hygiene products, groceries, clothing, and bedding, provide children and youth with back-to-school supplies, offer holiday assistance packages, and even send kids to camp during the summer. Without our donors, none of this would be possible, and we are so thankful for each and every contribution.
