We donate warm wool socks and winter accessories to those in need.
Socks for Change provides warm, quality wool socks and winter accessories to the less fortunate in Niagara. More than 75,000 people in Niagara live on or below the poverty line. More than a 3rd of these are children.
Our goal is to raise enough from donations to purchase 35,000 pairs of socks. We also donate winter accessories such as toques, scarves for this winter.
Socks for Change is able to purchase the socks for around $2.00 a pair so donations of even small amounts of change go a long way to help reach our goal.
Your socks go to more than 60 shelters and charitable organizations in Niagara, more than 150 schools, Niagara Regional Police and EMS ambulances and anywhere else we find a person who needs a pair of warm socks.
