Sorrento Centre is a gathering place for all - a retreat and conference centre on 24 beautiful acres of orchards, groves, a beach and residences in the central interior of British Columbia. We have an 8-acre natural farm near to our main campus. Throughout much of the year, we offer diverse programs for youth, families, adults - with a focus on mixing up the generations. Our education programs range from creative arts to theology. We host a great many events - everything from quilt-makers to banjo-players. Long-time participants call Sorrento Centre a “thin space”, or, as theologian Richard Rohr says, a place :“…betwixt and between the familiar and the completely unknown... a good space where genuine newness can begin. Get there often and stay as long as you can… God’s waiting room.” We are a holy place of transformation for learning, healing and belonging.
