About Sounds of the Next Generation (SONG)
Sounds of the Next Generation (SONG) makes life better through music. We build lifelong skills in self-regulation, social connection and leadership for young people using a model found in every culture on the planet. We empower young people to find their community voice by making music in public spaces. We include kids who wouldn’t otherwise get music by partnering with local schools and bring programming directly to them. Everything needed to participate is free. SONG is the only program of this kind in Northumberland County. Our students get a place where they belong and learn to sing their own song.
