Rotary Club of Calgary at Stampede Park

about

The Rotary Club of Calgary at Stampede Park improves the lives of people in need through service. Long term and mutually beneficial relationships with our community support charitable investments in our city of an estimated $900,000 annually.  Projects positively affect hundreds of thousands of people each year, and compound in value over time.

Our Club supports a multitude of initiatives for all ages and needs such as new infrastructure for facilities at the Association for the Rehabilitation of the Brain Injured, Ronald McDonald House, and the Mustard Seed.  For special needs children such as Providence and Renfrew Educational Services.  The Rotary Flames House – Alberta’s first pediatric hospice, and the Rotary Bethany Atrium for seniors.

The Rotary Mattamy Greenway forms one of the largest pathway networks in the world with over 1,000 kms of trails.  Rotary Challenger Park is a model of community inclusiveness where persons with disabilities can play next to and with their able-bodied peers. To support our bright young stars of tomorrow – our Rotary Stay in School Program.

These are but a few of the hundreds of projects the Rotary Club of Calgary at Stampede Park has, and continues to invest in.

In addition to these annual funding injections to local charities, in 2019 our Rotary Club donated $1M to the Calgary Stampede Foundation to empower youth leaders in our community.  These funds will support the revitalization of Oliver House in Youth Campus on Stampede Park as well as provide bursaries for Calgary Stampede Foundation youth programs.
