Sanare Centre (formerly the Sexual Assault Response Committee or SARC) offers sexual trauma-specific therapy services for survivors and those affected by sexual violence, victim’s navigation services, and numerous school education programs to prevent sexual violence.
Sanare is also currently in the process of developing the Southeastern Alberta Child Advocacy Centre (CAC) which will bring together professionals involved in child abuse cases (Police, RCMP, Crown, child protection, medical and mental health) for a coordinated, multidisciplinary, trauma-informed and child-friendly response to identify, end, and treat child abuse in Southeastern Alberta
