Our Mission
To take in from shelters, pounds and individual owners, Shelties (Shetland Sheepdogs) and Sheltie mixes who are in need and care for them in loving foster homes until we can match them to carefully screened adoptive homes.

Southern Ontario Sheltie Rescue Society is a registered charity operated by dedicated volunteers who take in Shelties in need and find them loving new forever homes. All dogs receive whatever veterinary care is necessary from basic check ups to extensive surgery. Great care is taken to try to match each individual dog and it's needs with the most compatible, approved adoptive home.
