Space Place Planetarium Canada is a multi-disciplined leadership team of STEM+Arts (STEAM) professionals drawn from the fields of astronomy; other space and space-related earth sciences; engineering; NGO and academic administration; and planetarium, museum, and tourism development. We are in process of expanding our leadership team, membership, and supporters, drawing from over 8,000 contacts from across Canada and the world who have indicated an interest in Space Place Planetarium Canada.
Our goal is to create a 21st century "virtual" planetarium for Canada and the world, an accessible educational website, and a physical Space Place in downtown Toronto, serving educational and tourist needs.
Our focus is STEAM awareness, education, and employment opportunities. Every day will be career day at Space Place Canada.
