Our Mission
Spectrum’s main objective is to operate a non-profit centre for the treatment of children, youth and adults diagnosed with an autism spectrum or related disorder in order to increase their cognitive and social abilities in the home, school and community. All programming is based on the principles of applied behaviour analysis (ABA). We also provide continuing education and training to parents, caregivers, therapists and other professionals regarding the principles and practice of ABA.
About SPECTRUM INTERVENTION GROUP
We are an applied behaviour analysis/intensive behavioural intervention (ABA/IBI) provider. We use evidence-based procedures to help learners diagnosed with an autism spectrum or related disorders achieve meaningful gains in their home, school, and community.
Our clinical teams consist of clinical supervisors, Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs), senior therapists and instructor therapists.
Treatment is provided in-centre and in-home for children,youth and adults. Treatment is delivered both in 1:1 and small group formats. We are a non-profit federally incorporated registered charity. We are pleased to accept donations from individuals and organizations and issue tax receipts.
Spectrum is governed by a Board of Directors comprised significantly of parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, experienced professionals in the field, as well as business people.
