Accountable to a membership comprised of persons living with these disabilities, their families and supporters, SCI Manitoba employs professional staff, uses committed volunteers and encourages self-help efforts to achieve its mission.
SCI Manitoba strives:
- to assist persons with these disabilities to lead full and satisfying lives integrated in the wider community,
- to assist the community to identify, reduce, and where possible, eliminate all barriers to full participation of such persons
- to promote efforts towards prevention and cure of spinal cord injuries
