Square Peg Society is a non-profit, charitable organization supporting Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) adults and their families. Our goal is to assist ASD adults in building self-supporting, independent lives. To achieve this goal we focus on the following key areas:
- Post- secondary education
- Employment
- Housing
- Mental health
- Life & social skills
Our meetings are to share information and research, and to discuss and plan. ASD individuals want to live as independent adults, in communities where they feel they feel respected and included.
Square Peg Society offers our individuals and their families:
- Information pertaining to the above areas of focus
- Emotional support
- Alliances with service providers and other organizations with whom we may partner to host meetings or to provide workshops on issues of common interest
- Advocacy to promote government policy change.
