The St. Albert Chamber Music Society was formed in 2010 to promote an appreciation, learning and sharing of chamber music in our community.
The St. Albert Chamber Music Society was formed in 2010 to promote an appreciation, learning and sharing of chamber music in our community.
SACMS seeks to make chamber music more accessible by nurturing the talents of young musicians and showcasing the excellence of distinguished chamber music artists through regular chamber music recitals, concerts, master classes and other educational and performance opportunities for music students, performers and music lovers.
SACMS has established a scholarship fund and is able to offer five scholarships a year to young emerging artists.
With each season bringing new and exciting artists, the SACMS concerts have quickly become a must see experience for the community of St. Albert.
Over the past seasons, we have hosted a wide range of musical ensembles. With an intimate space, located at the St. Albert United Church, each concert provides the opportunity to see the performers with their instruments up close.
