To assist disadvantaged residents of St. Albert to reach a state of independence, personal safety, improved quality of life and empowerment by facilitating access to appropriate community-based agencies and temporarily providing nutritional support.
About Our Charity
The Food Bank will collect and store food at a central location, which will be maintained through food and cash donations from the community and from which food hampers will be distributed.
The Community Village will provide client support programs through a Community Liaison; these programs include a Community Kitchen, an Advocacy Office, a homeless show/laundry program, a Student Legal Services program, Financial Literacy, Rental Assistance program, S.A.I.F. Outreach Counselor, Mental Health Resources.. iRest Therapy, Tools for School, N.O.W. (Nurturing Opportunities for Wellness), Wellness Room, Partnership with Grant MacEwan 3rd Year Nursing students, Brian Layton Infant formula and more.
