St. Andrew's-Wesley United Church IS:

PASSIONATE--our faith touches our hearts as well as our heads; it makes a real difference in the way we live. We seek to become faithful disciples of Jesus Christ in today's world.

INCLUSIVE--There is room for everyone in this community; nobody is excluded. God keeps challenging us to stretch our boundaries and to see people the way God sees them; and to offer acceptance and hospitality.

PROGRESSIVE--We live out of a theological vision that encourages fresh ways of understanding the Christian story; Where the Bible is taken seriously but not literally; Where questions and commitments are intertwined; Where one does not have to park one's mind at the door of the church; Where we seek to be in dialogue with our culture, with art, and with science.

Our congregation is committed to "PLOW:-- the acronym for undertaking a variety of diverse PROGRAMS; to investigating and engaging in Christian LITERACY,to leading in social justice and OUTREACH, and to variety and integrity in God-centred WORSHIP.

We are part of the Embrace BC Program of Interfaith Bridging and our desire to understand/appreciate other faiths, and to seek their similar engagement in ours is at the centre of this activity.
